It’s Thursday, so welcome back on the blog and to another week with another blog post waiting for you. If you are following my Instagram or kept track of the previous blog posts you know I’m currently in the US and have just started my road trip – well, I hope I have, as I am writing this and some of the following posts in advance. I was well aware that during this trip I won’t have too much time to write, so I prepared as much as I could beforehand. This week I am going to tell you all about the trip I made about a month ago with my best friend: Cyprus.

It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for another blog post. As you might have noticed, I’ve been quite on the run the last few weeks, and I’ve visited some very cool places. This week I want to start telling you all about my short but fun trip to the Swedish capital Stockholm. It was my first time in Scandinavia, but I already know it won’t be my last time!

Last week, I decided to take a little break as it’s been quite stressful coming back from my travels, prepare blogposts and additionally, I was a bit sick, or at least not feeling my best after rushing from one place to another. But today, I am back with the final part about my road trip through southern Italy last year.

After having been to Naples, Pompeii and Ischia, I dropped my friends off at the station, and later picked up another one, with whom I continued my trip. We headed on to Bari, which was our base for the next days full of exploring Puglia, according to many, the most beautiful part of Italy.

Good morning and happy Thursday. Right now, I’m on my way to the airport, heading to Cyprus for a vacation with my best friends, so be prepared for lots of pictures on Instagram (finally again, as I’ve been very busy the last 2 weeks). Today, a new part of the little series where I tell you everything about my 6 months in Italy is ready for you, and I’m continuing right where I stopped last week by telling you about my road trip through Southern Italy, and this time it’s all about Pompeii and Ischia. I know we’re not quite “southern” yet, but rather in central Italy, but don’t worry, the road trip covered that as well.

I might start with the most important fact – no, Naples is not particularly safe regarding pickpockets and getting robbed. Also, I wouldn’t recommend driving in the city, as I did and even though I was used to the Italian way of driving, it was the most horrible experience you can imagine. Rules simply did not exist on the streets. But I guess that’s what makes Naples unique.

Welcome back to my Berlin guide. Today, I’m going to tell you about all the other places I saw when visiting the city a month ago, and I want to emphasize once more that everything I tell you this time and told you last week is easily done in 3 days.

Last month, I rather spontaneously went to Berlin. The main reason was that I wanted to watch the recording of one of my favourite TV-shows, and as it was just the weekend of Mother’s Day, I was not able to find anyone who would go there with me. But I decided not to let me be stopped by this and went alone. So now let me start right away with everything I’ve done during my three days in the German capital.

Welcome back to my little series about the Italian capital. This time I’m focusing on some other main attractions of the city, as well as some personal favourites that might not be on everyone’s list. But enough talking and let’s get right into it!

All roads lead to Rome, right?

Well, I'm pretty sure you can imagine, that during my semester abroad in Italy, I frequently went to Rome, not only because it's a beautiful city and I have never been there before, but also because one of my best friends was doing her semester abroad there. When brainstorming on what places I should recommend you, my first thought was 'Everything?!' and therefore, this will only be part one of my series about the beautiful Italian capital.

After having been to Brisbane and Sydney and loving these cities, I headed north to see some nature and visit the Great Barrier Reef. Afterwards, I went south to Melbourne before ending my trip. This is where I had a lot of bad luck, but on the other hand, everything turned out great as well.

Despite what my friend told me, I had already enjoyed Brisbane very much, so when she told me Sydney was going to be way better, I had pretty high expectations. Due to a tight time schedule, I had about 5 days to spend there with my friend until I would continue my journey alone. Even though Sydney is the most popular of all Australian cities, it is not the capital of Australia, but still, it feels as if it were.

Australia was my first big trip alone, and by far the farthest I went away from home. But that's quite obvious, given the fact that there are hardly any places farther away from Europe than Australia. Of course, I was nervous before my trip. Would I be okay being completely alone? Would I get lonely? Would I be able to find anyone taking my picture? I was very uncertain, so when the day came, I had mixed feelings.

A while ago, I told you everything about the time I spent in Japan. While re-living my adventures, I realized there are many things I either learned along the way or wished I knew beforehand. That’s why in today’s post you’ll hear some tips that should help you enjoy the beautiful land of the rising sun.

As you might have already seen on Instagram, in February, I spent a week in Perugia. For me, this city will always hold a special place in my heart, as I lived there for nearly half a year in 2018. Even though, I didn’t know anything beforehand about this city, it turned out to be the best decision ever to go there and I will now tell you exactly why.

Last week, I told you all about visiting Fes, and so this week it’s time to talk about the tourist hot spot Marrakech and, additionally, I’ll talk about a short trip into the desert and Casablanca, where I also spent some time. Like I mentioned in the previous post, it’s super easy to travel by train inside of Morocco, and so it was only obvious for us to take the train once again, to get from Fes to Marrakech. As this journey takes nearly 7 hours, it was quite exhausting, but pretty convenient as well, as it only cost 215 Moroccan Dirham (about 20 Euros). You could also travel by plane, but it’s more expensive and on our travel day, no direct flight was available.

Welcome back to my little Scotland series. Somehow, the last part of a travel series is always the hardest to write and the one I am delaying the longest, because as soon as it’s over it’s over and I don’t have any more excuses looking at the taken pictures the whole day. But all good things come to an end, right? So, this time, I’ll be talking about the tour through the Scottish Highlands I was on for the last day I spent in Scotland.

Some of you might know that my journey to Morocco had a pretty rough start due to flight changes, but in the end, it turned out to be one of the best trips I ever made, and I got to see why so many travelers are big fans of this beautiful country. We went from Casablanca to Fes, then to Marrakech and back to Casablanca by train and in this blogpost, I’ll tell you about the first part of our journey.

I was very glad to see you enjoyed the first part of my travel guide to Scotland that much, and I can’t wait to tell you even more. Last week, I focused on the main tourist attractions in Edinburgh and today I will tell you more about some spots in the city you might not have heard too much about. I’m also going to tell you a bit about Glasgow, the second largest city of Scotland.
